One last picture...

Zoo pictures ready!

The iPhone has been replaced. So I am reconnected with my twitter and tweeting on the go again. Also, I have processed some of the zoo pictures I warned you all about...

First, the residents!

Then the animals!

Prelude, to the lewdness? (Nah, just normal crazery.)

The tweet widget is up, it's part of the website. Unfortunately I lost my iPhone yesterday, so tweets will not be appearing super frequently until it is replaced.

Today Gia and I went to the zoo. It was a lovely time. I have lots of pictures to sort through and the tigers (there were four of them) were being super social when we got there, so I have some pretty dope kitty pictures.

Also, instead of doing studio shots of me for the website I thought some environmental shots would be a bit more charming. So expect to see me with a monkey face and me on a hippo.

Good Morning!

I kick off every morning by checking out the latest work from my favorite wedding photographers and blogs. Since I've gotten into the habit of checking their work I felt it was only fair that I make a concentrated effort to post every morning.

So here is this morning's post: I got a haircut yesterday, and I need to update the website to include an FAQ/Bio type page, so I'm going to combine the two events and take a picture for the website which shows off my new (ultra short) haircut. Gia and I both dislike it, but no time like the present for getting work done. So expect an update soon to include a picture of me with what looks like a buzz cut!

Oh yeah and I started a twitter account yesterday! So expect a tweet widget to pop up someplace soon!

Blow Up

Last night I watched "Blow Up". I'm pretty sure I requested that Blockbuster-online send it because I heard the main character is based on Richard Avedon. I sure hope it wasn't. I have much more respect for Avedon, and from all I've read he tried his best to ensure that his models were comfortable and relaxed while being photographed. He had boundless energy, and I'm sure his shoots reflected that, but the overt flirtatious mannerisms of the protagonist in "Blow Up" didn't seem to reflect any respect for the craft or his subjects.

Otherwise, the movie was longwinded, but interesting. I think I dozed off in the middle, but the parts I was awake for were rather interesting. It's probably going to have to go the way of "The Deer Hunter". Third time's a charm!

DIDI MAU!

Craigslist

Lately, I've been cleaning house and getting rid of stuff on craigslist. I sold the old ninja that I had been rolling around.

PICTURE NO LONGER AVAILABLE! :)

And I currently have an HP printer listed. Gia says I'm crazy and that the only people who would want to buy an HP Deskjet 990 are people who know about ink capacities and blabbidy blah blah. Honestly she got really technical in her explanation of why certain people would want it, but at least I understood that "it's a great office printer!"

Ahh well, that's why I take the pictures and she does the talking.
